Changelog widget
Embed a live changelog so visitors can read what shipped without leaving the page they are on.
What you can do
- Show published changelog entries in an embed
- Keep the widget in sync with the product changelog
- Point visitors to the full portal post when they want the durable URL
- Use the widget alongside changelog email and the in-app banner
How to
- Publish at least one changelog entry in Changelog so the widget has something to show.
- Open Product settings → Widgets for this product.
- Create or open a changelog widget and copy the embed snippet.
- Paste the snippet on a marketing page, docs page, or in-app surface.
- Load the page and confirm published entries appear.
- When you ship again, publish the changelog entry first. The widget reads the same published list.
Limits
- Only published entries appear. Drafts stay in the app.
- The widget is a live slice. The portal changelog URL is the durable, shareable record.
- Requester notify and subscriber email are separate from the embed.
