Features

Turn requests into features so the team and customers share one status.

What you can do

• Create a feature from the product sidebar
• Set a state the roadmap understands
• Link feedback so votes, quotes, and close-the-loop stay together
• Choose whether the feature is public on the portal

How to

1. Open Features (or create from a feedback item) in app.feedback1.ai.
2. Name the feature the way customers would say it. Add a short description.
3. Set a state. Live states include backlog, planned, future, in_progress, completed, released, and cancelled.
4. Link the feedback items that drove the work.
5. Keep the feature internal until you are ready for the public roadmap.
6. When you ship, mark it released, then write the changelog entry.

Limits

• States are the source of truth for public roadmap columns. Change the state when work moves.
• Public versus internal visibility controls what customers see.
• Issue-tracker links (Jira, Azure DevOps, YouTrack) do not replace Feature.state.
