Connect Slack
Send feedback alerts to Slack and turn team conversations into structured Feedback1 records.
What you can do
- Connect a Slack workspace with OAuth
- Route new feedback, votes, and status changes to channels or DMs
- Submit feedback from Slack so the ask does not stay in a thread
- Disconnect the workspace from Settings when you are done
How to
- Open app.feedback1.ai and go to Settings → Integrations.
- Open the Slack card and authorize your Slack workspace.
- Choose the product and the channel or DM routing you want for alerts.
- Invite the Slack app into any private channel that should receive messages.
- If capture from Slack is available on your connection, use that flow to log feedback instead of pasting screenshots.
- Open Feedback in the app and confirm a test item or alert arrived.
Limits
- Slack is for your internal team. Customers still submit through the portal, widget, form, or email.
- Private channels only work after the Slack app is invited and routing is set.
- Notifications do not replace triage in the Feedback inbox.
