Banners

Announce what shipped inside your product. The banner is the last mile after the changelog.

What you can do

• Create a banner for a shipped feature
• Embed it with the f1-banner script
• Point customers at the changelog or roadmap
• Use banner and changelog email together for a loud request

How to

1. Go to Notify → Banners (/ABC123/notify/banners).
2. Create a banner. Tie it to a released feature when you have one.
3. Copy the embed snippet for your app. Details live in Banner widget.
4. Publish the matching changelog entry so the banner is not the only announcement.
5. Load your app and confirm the banner appears in the place you embedded.
6. Dismiss it once as a visitor would, then adjust copy if it is unclear.

Limits

• Banners announce what shipped. They are not onboarding tours or lifecycle messaging.
• Confirm targeting and locales in the product before you promise a rule.
• Prefer changelog email plus banner together when you need to close the loop.
