Portal
The public portal is the customer-facing site for roadmap, changelog, help, forum, and submit.
What you can do
- Open Product settings → User Portal to control tab order, visibility, and header chrome
- Share a link customers can open without the app
- Brand the portal and, when you need it, use a custom domain or password
- Keep Help, roadmap, changelog, and forum on the same host
How to
- Open the product in app.feedback1.ai.
- Go to Product settings → User Portal.
- Set public tab order and turn tabs on or off (Roadmap sections, My Votes, Changelog, Forum, Help).
- Choose which header items visitors see: RSS, Search, Submit, and the theme toggle. Sign-in methods stay on Auth.
- Set visitor actions (vote, comment), feature display (dates, type labels, category colors), and the default landing tab.
- Review branding, languages, and auth in the nearby product settings before a wide launch.
- Open the public URL (for example roadmap.feedback1.ai) and confirm the tabs and header look right.
Limits
- The portal only shows features and content you mark as public.
- Widgets embed a slice on another page. The portal is the full public site.
- Custom domains, SEO, and logo live in Product settings → Details. Auth methods live in Product settings → Auth.
- Forum and Help also have their own module pages. The User Portal switches and those pages change the same settings.
- Changelog, forum and Help tabs are free on every plan, including Free.
